Battery condition is extremely important. No stator can work correctly with a bad or weak battery. Always fully charge your battery before performing any charging system tests or replacing parts. If there is any doubt, have the battery load tested or replaced.

Please note: This stator ONLY fits KTM models with the SEM type ignition.

Please compare the picture of our stator to your original to be sure. The SEM stator uses 3 mounting bolts instead of 2, and has a plastic shell covering the core, usually with 'SEM Sweden' stamped into the plastic. (Please see RMS01374 for the KOKUSAN design)
